Those who claim to be Vietnam vets who were not are taking credit from those who earned the title. Not to mention these same posers filling their walls with medals and ribbons they never earned.
They not only disgrace themselves but disgrace the uniform they once wore. The guy above has a blog who says "Just call me Mike". He sounds off like quite the little braggart who when confronted with his self appointed honors only attacks those who dare ask. His latest blog post when called out on his false claims was met with arrogance to one who called himself "Bob" and just asking Mike a simple question. This is the link to this poser Mike's answer. http://mikemstahl.com/2015/11/23/i-dont-have-to-prove-anything-to-anyone/
Mike claims he doesn't have to prove anything to anyone. I guess he hasn't heard of the "Stolen Valor Act" signed into law in 2006 by president George W. Bush and again in 2013 by president Barack Obama. Making fraudulent claims of military service or medals never awarded is punishable by fines and imprisonment. Mike doesn't seem to care. He claims to he has no use for Military posers in his blog and his own words to this are: Now, let me say from the start here, that I got no use whatsoever for military (or LEO) posers. You know, those sorry fucks that claim they served when they really didn’t, and/or who served and claim (as well as display), medals, ribbons, awards, etc that they were never awarded; or who may claim they were RECON, SEALS, RANGERS, and other “special ops” while in service.
Yet he himself violates his own statement by doing exactly that as the photos of himself above and below prove.
Some interesting census statistics of the Vietnam war are:
1,713,823 of those who served in Vietnam were still alive as of August,1995 (census figures).
During that same Census count, the number of Americans falsely claiming to have served in-country was: 9,492,958.
As of the current Census taken during August, 2000, the surviving U.S. Vietnam Veteran population estimate is: 1,002,511. This is hard to believe, losing nearly 711,000 between '95 and '00. That's 390 per day.
During this Census count, the number of Americans falsely claiming to have served in-country is: 13,853,027. By this census, FOUR OUT OF FIVE WHO CLAIM TO BE Vietnam vets are not.
That's right 4 out of 5 who claim to be Vietnam vets ARE NOT. Mike is one of them. Approximately 2 million served IN-Country during the Vietnam war, yet we have over 9 million now claiming in-country Vietnam service. It's those like this Mike character who dishonor those who really served in-country and on top of that claiming medals and awards such as the Purple Heart, Vietnam service medal, Vietnam campaign medal and others they never earned.
I guess because Mike possibly serving in some capacity of the Marines during 71 to 73 gives him the right to claim honors that he never earned or received. I guess he feels he should get something he never earned just because he was in the military at that time. It doesn't work that way Mike. You are an embarrassment and insult to the Marine uniform and to those of other military branches who actually did serve in Vietnam.
You're a poser and imposter of the worst kind and one day all your crap will catch up with you.
One more thing Mike. Myself and others could care less what you want to hang on your walls or claim to be in your own home, but when you put out a public blog making claims you know you can't prove, you'll be called on those claims by others who know a Phony and poser when they hear one. Stop living off those who actually did something honorable for their country by trying to get personal kudos and "high fives" from something YOU never did.
Loan Opportunity Offered By Mr, Benjamin That Save My Family From Financial Bondage { 247officedept@gmail.com }
ReplyDeleteHello Everyone, I am Putri Adiratnaa single mom from Jakarta, I would like to share this great testimony on how I got a loan from Mr, Benjamin, when we were driven out of our home when I couldn't pay my bills anymore, After being scammed by various companies online and denied a loan from my bank and some other credit union I visited. My children were taken by foster care, I was all alone in the street. The day I shamefully walked into an old school mate who introduced me to Daisy Maureen. At first I told her that I am not ready to take any risk of requesting a loan online anymore, but she assured me that I will receive my loan from them. On a second thought, due to my homelessness I had to take a trial and applied for the loan, luckily for me I received a loan of $80,000.00 from Mr, Benjamin. I'm happy I took the risk and applied for the loan. My kids have been given back to me and now I own a home and a business of my own. All thanks and gratitude goes to the help of Mr, Benjamin for giving me a meaning to life when I had lost all hope.
